Dr. Sabrina Falquier is a multilingual and multicultural board certified internal medicine physician and specializes in Culinary Medicine.
She has had a thriving outpatient primary care practice since 2005 at Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group in San Diego, California. Since 2016, she has incorporated culinary medicine into her practice and has started a shared medical appointment model with a culinary medicine focus, including researching health outcomes.
As a physician, she wants to show people the link between health and nutrition, and to empower them to make doable, delicious meals that are also fantastic for their bodies. She promotes culinary medicine throughout the San Diego community in a variety of ways including lectures, teen culinary literacy programs, expert panels, cooking demonstrations, recipe development, hands-on cooking events, and social media.
She has been interviewed regarding food and health by media outlets including The Washington Post, The Union-Tribune, Telemundo, San Diego Magazine, Edible San Diego, CBS News, and Sharp Health News and has been recognized, for the last 12 years, as one of San Diego’s Top Doctors, as voted by her physician peers.
Dr. Falquier started her own culinary medicine focused company: Sensations Salud, LLC. Her approach is awakening the senses around ingredient acquisition and food preparation while empowering people to better health through nutritional knowledge and culinary literacy, all of this alongside honoring each individual’s different food traditions.
