Our Programs
Cooking With Chefs Series
In response to the 2017 San Diego County Childhood Obesity Initiative, the Chefs de Cuisine Education Foundation developed a program of healthy cooking classes in collaboration with the Boys & Girls Clubs of South County after school programs.
The Mentorship Initiative
Chefs de Cuisine Mentoring Initiative evolved from an ongoing partnership between the Education Foundation and Kitchens For Good .
Kitchens For Good offers a free 18-month culinary apprenticeship program that provides work skills and life skills training to people from troubled backgrounds. The apprentices prepare meals for the homeless, hungry and food insecure, work with local food rescue and other local efforts to reduce food waste.
Partner Shout Out
We spotlight local businesses and community organizations that engage in great working relationships with the Chefs de Cuisine Education Foundation. These partnerships make it possible to better serve families in diverse neighborhoods throughout San Diego and to fulfill the Foundation’s mission.
